The Romanian Government Scholarship

An annual scholarship offered by Romania's Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with the Ministry of Education, covering tuition and accommodation with a monthly stipend — awarded through competitive file evaluation.

Our Role, Clearly Stated

We provide consultation, guidance and application file preparation for the scholarship — we do not guarantee obtaining it. The scholarship is competitive and the final decision rests solely with the evaluation committee at Romania's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We hold no official capacity with the ministry and no influence over evaluation results.

From Application to Acceptance

01
16 Feb — 31 Mar 2026

Apply Through the Official Platform

Applications are submitted exclusively through the ministry's Study in Romania online platform. You create a personal account, upload your scanned documents as PDFs, and digitally consent to the data processing policy (GDPR) — this consent is required for the application to be considered complete.

02
Around 15 July 2026

Results Announcement

All applicants are notified of their application status via the email registered on the platform. Monitor your inbox regularly during this period — including your spam folder.

03
After acceptance

Acceptance Letter and Response

The Ministry of Education issues an acceptance letter specifying your assigned university and whether the preparatory year is required. You must respond officially through the platform — accepting or declining — within the specified deadline.

04
Immediately after accepting

Visa Procedures

The acceptance letter is the essential document for obtaining the long-stay study visa. You bear the visa procedures and costs yourself — these are not covered by the scholarship.

Automatically Rejected Applications

Any application submitted outside the official platform is rejected without review — whether emailed to ministry staff, delivered directly to registry offices, or submitted via diplomatic missions. The online platform is the only accepted channel.
